what TREATMENT STRATEGIES can be offered?
Following initial assessment and diagnosis, our independent practitioners can offer offer various treatments as appropriate, dependent upon the nature of your problem. Sometimes a plan involving a multidisciplinary approach (i.e. involving input from more than one healthcare professional) is more appropriate.

SPECIALIST MUSCULOSKELETAL MEDICINE AND SPORTS DOCTORS:
Our independent doctors offer a wide range of treatments such as:
- Advice (e.g. on exercises, lifestyle and activity modifications)
- Manual (hands on) treatment
- Injections of joints and soft tissues (e.g. trigger point, bursae and tendon injections). These can include both landmark and ultrasound guided injections where clinically indicated
- Corticosteroid, Autologous Blood and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, Hyaluronic acid (viscosupplement) injections and Arthrosamid
- Spinal injections such as caudal epidural steroid, sacroiliac joint injections, facet joint injections and erector spinae plane blocks
- Prolotherapy
- Radial shockwave therapy
PODIATRY:
The most common treatment modalities offered by the podiatrist include:

- The provision of orthotic devices and splints where appropriate.
